When do you receive your spiritual gifts?
You receive your spiritual gifts at the exact moment you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. At that precise instant the Holy Spirit indwells you and He will never leave nor forsake you.

Can you choose your spiritual gifts?
You cannot choose your spiritual gifts. Talking about spiritual gifts Paul states, “…and He gives them to each one, just as he determines.” God gives you the spiritual gifts He knows you will need to live out your unique, God-given purpose. In many ways, your spiritual gift is your purpose on earth (e.g., leaders lead; teachers teach; etc.).

Will your spiritual gifts change?
Your spiritual gifts will not change. At the moment you’re given your gifts you are given every gift God intends for you. No, but as you gain ministry experience, others may emerge.
