What is a spiritual gift?
The Bible itself provides a definition of spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12:7. “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” A spiritual gift is a manifestation of the Holy Spirit. In other words, spiritual gifts are the Holy Spirit, and the various forms in which He reveals Himself. Think of a diamond. It is one priceless gem, but made up of various facets. Spiritual gifts are facets of the Holy Spirit.

Who gives you your spiritual gifts?
God gives us our spiritual gifts. Remember the spiritual gift is the Holy Spirit.. Since God sent the Holy Spirit to live within you, God is the one who gives you your gifts.. Jesus told His disciples, “I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you” (John 16:7).

Who has spiritual gifts?
Only Christians have spiritual gifts since only believers have the Holy Spirit living within them. It is critical to remember that spiritual gifts are a manifestation or revelation of the Holy Spirit. He is the gift. The way He reveals Himself is the actual gift (e.g., helps or evangelism).
